– Scout, research and discover. Identify signals, understand industry trends, benchmark other companies/industries.
– Pick up the correct role for PoC (Enabler, leader or facilitator) and flex this role whenever required.
– Enable execution of Prototypes/PoC as per agreed scope, resources (budget and human capital) and milestones through regular monitoring of progress and implementation of corrective actions.
– Lead or become Instrumental in PoC’s as a subject matter expert, acts swiftly and independently, yet know when to call up on the rest of the organization.
– Faciliate POC conducted by the function with the supplier.
– Connect regularly with customers and communicate findings and updates to stakeholders. Exchange ideas and information and develop strategies with internal and external stakeholders in complex organizational environment. Given the complexity of topics and the varying levels of knowledge of different stakeholders, clear and concise communications is key.
– Organize innovation events (inside and outside PMI)
– Partner with the Innovation eco-system (world-class research organizations, academic environments, promising suppliers)
– Designed the Fast Forward principles (Lean Enterprise) to move towards experimentation, learning and data driven decision.
